HOW TO IMPROVE YOUR COMMUNICATION SKILLS
As you know, we all communicate both in verbal and non-verbal language (body language such as Posture, Smile, Eye contact, Tone, Eye Movement etc) due to which we must ensure that we are in the appropriate state (confident/ motivated /energetic/calm/composed) when we are communicating.
If you want to get the desired results of any task then you MUST have effective communication skills. Outcome of any Event depends on the Response given to it which only means that we MUST display appropriate reaction / give most appropriate response (which is in our control) to it.

Sometimes it is the difference between Success and Failure.
Techniques for effective communication
● Organize self, team members, peers and others.
We MUST know what we want, as without knowing the desired Outcome it will be difficult to organize ourselves, team members & others to achieve.
● Knowing HOW to Give and Receive Feedback.
Most of us believe that criticism is to be given rather than to receive.
● According to Elbert Hubbard “the only way to avoid criticism is to do nothing, say nothing and be nothing” which only means that we MUST learn how to receive criticism as feedback and to know How to react / handle when we are criticized and to give Positive feedback.
● Develop skills for Public Speaking.
As we all know, we must inspire others with our talk to get things done.
It is also essential to develop skills to eliminate stage fear, to build strong vocabulary with empowering words, know how to maintain the posture and eye contact with the audience.
● According to NLP model of Communication, State of person plays key role in communication as Physiology and Tonality together constitute 93% whereas remaining is only 7% for words (i.e. while speaking to others).
More simple steps suggested in NLP to improve Communication skills are
